Year 1

Students enrol on 1 October at the Hongo Campus and begin design research with an accepted G30-UDA supervisor in the Department of Architecture.

Year 2

The second year is centred on the design research and the master's thesis, with the balance of the minimum 30 credits completed alongside. The degree is awarded once the thesis is accepted and the final examination passed.

Completion

To complete the Global 30 Master's program at the School of Engineering of the University of Tokyo, you must: enroll for a period of at least 2 years, complete the required courses, earn more than 30 credits, receive the necessary research guidance, and e) have the master's thesis accepted and pass the final examinations.
