After receiving payment, candidates are required to submit the relevant documents in printed form. * For all required documents in hard copy, applicants must provide 2 certified copies, one of which is mailed to the Woosong University Admissions Office and the other is mailed to the local embassy/consulate when applying for a visa. Obtaining a visa
The visa application process for students from Kazakhstan planning to study in Korea involves several main steps. First of all, applicants need a passport valid for at least 6 months. They must fill out a visa application form, attach a current color photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm), and provide a copy of the personal information page of the passport. To obtain a long-term visa for more than 90 days, applicants must undergo a tuberculosis test (fluorography/PCR test) at an approved clinic within the last 3 months. A certificate of enrollment from the chosen educational institution in original or a copy is required. An academic transcript, such as an original document from the last educational institution with an English translation, must be provided. In addition, a bank statement with a live seal issued within the last 2 weeks confirming financial capacity is required. The required amount varies depending on the type of program and place of residence. Students who are pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Seoul, Incheon or Gyeonggi need to present $20,000. For students from other cities, the amount is $18,000. The visa application processing period is about 14 working days, excluding weekends and holidays, the consular fee is $90, paid in cash.
