International Graduate Program in the Field of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Studies

Programme overview

A two-year, fully English-taught Master's programme run by the Department of Civil Engineering of the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, on the Hongo Campus. Running since 1982 as the department's International Graduate Program, it trains international students to become leaders in infrastructure technology, planning, disaster mitigation and environmental management. The goal of the International Graduate Program is to educate, through the 2-year master course and 3-year doctoral course, its graduating students to become future international leaders. (1) Strongly motivated to study in accordance with the educational research goals of the Graduate School.
