Year 1

Students enrol as full-time graduate students immediately on arrival and join a research group. The first year is weighted towards taught coursework in English alongside the start of laboratory research under a supervisor.

Year 2

The second year is centred on laboratory research and the preparation of the master's thesis, with remaining credits completed alongside. The Graduate School of Engineering states that as students advance, research activities in the lab, including the preparation of the Master's thesis or Doctoral dissertation, become central.
